I’m Rafa, the one who takes loose sparks of ideas and shapes them into stories you can feel. Growing up on a small island, my imagination was always running bigger than the horizon—I once pictured a bridge 1,600 miles long from Puerto Rico to New York, just to bring the wider world within reach. That kind of wondering never left me.
It carried me into the world of design, where I studied Graphic Design in college (and, more importantly, met Yoly). From there, we built a family, a life, and a rhythm together. Along the way, my ideas kept multiplying—always looking for ways to blend curiosity with creativity.
Now, through Romders, I get to put that imagination to work in the best way possible: turning our travels into stories that connect places, people, and legends into something you can step into with us.

I’m Yoly, the logistics “brainiac” of Romders—the one who makes sure tickets are booked, bags are packed, and there’s a comfy place waiting at the end of the day, even if some nights remind me that not every bed is comfortable, that’s part of the journey too. Planning is in my nature, yet travel keeps showing me that the best moments often come from what you don’t expect.
I began in the creative world, where Rafa and I first crossed paths—both chasing creativity in our own ways—before spending years in education, earning a master’s in leadership and guiding others toward brighter futures. Those experiences shaped me, but when Rafa suggested early retirement, I knew it wasn’t about slowing down. It was about diving headfirst into what excites us most: exploring new places, experiencing new cultures, and capturing the stories waiting to be discovered.
For me, it’s not just about getting there—it’s about noticing the little details that make each place unforgettable, and sharing those stories with anyone curious enough to come along.
